Sorrow is better than fear. Fear is a journey, a terrible journey. But, sorrow is at least an arriving.
January 11, 1903: South African author Alan Paton wrote Cry, the Beloved Country and founded the anti-apartheid Liberal Party of South Africa. He was born 111 years ago today.
